Wreckroom - Pencil, Adobe Photoshop

I tried a few new things with this painting. First off, I wanted to do something more cartoon than a lot of my other paintings. Most of the advice that I had received upon coming back from the animation festival in Ottawa was to have a broader range of styles in my portfolio, particularly when it came to more kid-friendly cartoon work. Second, I wanted to come up with a firm attitude to the room so you knew exactly who lived there. I am very suprised and happy with the result of the flattened perspective - it gives a lot of acting space in the foreground, and I am also happy with the colours.
